About Us

Non scholae sed vitae discimus – We learn not for school, but for life.

With over 1,000 students attending our three schools, we take great pride in welcoming you to Emerson: Home of the Cavos! Steeped in a long tradition of academic excellence, student-centered learning and community spirit, we believe in the potential of our students, the ability of our teachers, and the support of our parent community.

Our schools focus on modeling and cultivating the habits of mind, body, and heart that promote a fulfilling and rewarding life. To do this we strive to know all of our students by name and need ensuring that all can take advantage of our academic and social-emotional offerings. As part of our commitment as an American public school, we seek to nurture the qualities of citizenship that are central to a vibrant and participatory democracy.

We take pride in being the academic and social center of our town for generations, and we look forward to future growth and success.
